Intern Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform customer requirements analysis and define allocations for system elements and components.
• Design, integrate, test, deploy, and improve software products.
• Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis, and detailed trade studies for system design.
• Generate technical engineering products using established standards and procedures throughout the development life cycle.
• Develop software architecture artifacts to communicate complex system solutions to stakeholders.
• Perform integration and testing of combat systems through simulation and live testing.
• Conduct complex data reduction and analysis to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement data collection systems to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
• A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Experience in requirements development, integration and testing, and data analysis are preferred.
