What you'll do

Perform requirements, functional, performance, and system design analysis for fire control subsystems.
Develop and maintain system models and architectures using MBSE tools like Cameo and DOORS.
Conduct interface definition studies of various system components and products under supervision.
Research and analyze vendor products, COTS components, and technical manuals to determine design feasibility.
Generate technical engineering products following specific standards, processes, and peer review procedures.
Develop system security documentation for both new and fielded information systems.
Support modeling and simulation activities in alignment with program objectives.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within engineering processes.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus 2 years of experience; or a Master's degree plus 6 months of experience.
Solid understanding and application of systems engineering principles, concepts, and theories.
Proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS) and modeling tools (Cameo/MagicDraw).
Familiarity with MBSE methodologies and digital engineering concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to report findings for systems engineering design.
Ability to use Microsoft Office tools for documentation, analysis, and presentation.
