What you'll do

Derive system, subsystem, and component level requirements for unmanned aerial systems.
Design, develop, and maintain system components to meet functional and performance requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications in distributed systems contexts.
Integrate hardware and software components in collaboration with engineers and product managers.
Define and document software engineering processes to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Manage the full product lifecycle including development, production, and sustainment.

What we're looking for

Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
5+ years of experience as a network engineer performing complex engineering tasks.
Expert level knowledge of multicast protocols including IGMP and PIM.
Expert level knowledge of unicast protocols including OSPF and BGP.
Experience with end-to-end testing of unicast and multicast data flows, Quality of Service, and CBWFQ.
Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
Hands-on experience in networking design and operation for Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) communications.
Proficiency in test script development using languages such as Python or Matlab.
