What you'll do

Define requirements and system architecture for end-to-end solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet specific functional and performance requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and scalability within distributed systems.
Integrate hardware and software components by working closely with hardware engineers and product managers.
Define and document software engineering processes and practices to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Perform hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and building of complex robotic systems.
Develop automated test scripts and frameworks using languages such as Python or MATLAB.

What we're looking for

2-6 years of industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering.
Proficiency with systems modeling tools such as Cameo.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and operating in an Agile development environment.
Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience of complex robotic systems.
Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using a common language like Python or MATLAB.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Familiarity with IP-based networks (preferred).
Experience with mission systems including communications systems and components (preferred); familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations (preferred); existing U.S. Secret clearance or higher (preferred).
