JOB TITLE: Systems Administrator / Principal Systems Administrator - Top Secret/SCI (Whidbey Island WA)
The Systems Engineering Organization is seeking a Systems Administrator or a Principal Systems Administrator to support a classified government contract. In this role, you will serve as a Windows/VMware and Linux/Redhat System Administrator, ensuring the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems. Daily responsibilities include installing, patching, and monitoring systems, managing file systems, disk space, and virus protection, and maintaining user accounts and security access lists. You will troubleshoot issues with vendors, develop technical procedures, and maintain security audit logs. Required skills include experience with Windows Server OS, domain architecture, and CompTIA Security+ certification. You will work within a high-security environment, adhering to strict Information Systems security guidelines to solve complex technical problems for classified networked and standalone computers.

What we're looking for
Must have an Active US Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI and the ability to obtain CI and SAP clearances.
Must have U.S. Citizenship.
Must have current CompTIA Security+ CE or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
Must have experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture.
Must meet one of the following education and experience combinations for Systems Administrator: Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years experience, Master’s plus 1 year, Associate’s plus 5 years, High school plus 7 years, or 5 years experience with relevant certifications.
Must meet one of the following education and experience combinations for Principal Systems Administrator: Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years experience, Master’s plus 4 years, Associate’s plus 8 years, High school plus 10 years, or 8 years experience with relevant certifications.
Must have the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and work after hours or weekends as needed.
Experience with Linux/Redhat, VMWare, SAN storage, and networking (preferred).
