System Integration Validation Engineer, Power Mode & Vehicle State

What you'll do

• Translate stakeholder requirements into testable feature objectives and executable test cases for assigned systems.
• Develop and maintain ADV plans, change management updates, and bidirectional traceability between requirements and evidence.
• Execute system-level tests across benches, virtual environments, HIL/SIL platforms, and physical vehicles.
• Conduct structured exploratory evaluations to identify interaction issues and real-world risks beyond standard requirements.
• Manage documentation for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance including FMVSS and self-certification audits.
• Perform root-cause analysis on integration issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
• Communicate technical readiness, project risks, and evidence status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer, Systems, or related discipline).
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience in vehicle systems, validation, integration, testing, or closely related work.
• Foundational knowledge of vehicle systems, interfaces, and failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with system- or feature-level testing on benches and/or vehicles.
• Ability to plan and execute tests, capture results, and compare outcomes to requirements or acceptance criteria.
• Exposure to issue management and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work under general guidance while exercising independent judgment on standard tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across functions.
