Senior Quality Engineer, Camera Experience

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for new and existing viewing software features.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on both bench and vehicle environments.
• Debug and troubleshoot system-level failures across hardware, embedded software, and vehicle signals.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and improve application scalability and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools while collaborating with developers for resolution.
• Integrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Manage system-level test strategy and provide end-to-end validation deliverables for camera-based features.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Software Integration Engineer, or relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience testing both development vehicles and hardware/software test benches.
• Experience owning system-level test planning, execution, defect triage, and release-readiness activities.
• Experience in scripting for automation and with at least one test framework such as Autobot.
• Experience building or maintaining automated regression tests integrated with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Ability to troubleshoot across hardware, embedded software, vehicle signals, calibration, and test infrastructure.
• Experience with vehicle communication protocols including CAN, OBD-II, LIN, and Ethernet.
