What you'll do

Lead post-silicon validation of CPU power, performance, and thermal behavior.
Develop and execute validation plans for power management, frequency scaling, and thermal controls.
Analyze workloads to identify system bottlenecks and efficiency issues.
Correlate silicon data with pre-silicon models to track metrics like performance per watt and power states.
Debug performance, power, and thermal issues across hardware, firmware, and OS boundaries.
Build automation for data collection, analysis, and regression detection.
Improve validation methodologies, benchmarks, and stress tests.
Deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams to support product milestones.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in post-silicon validation or CPU power/performance analysis.
10+ years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of CPU architecture including cores, memory hierarchy, DVFS, and power/thermal management.
Hands-on experience with silicon validation, lab measurement, and debugging across hardware, firmware, and OS boundaries.
Proficiency in Python, Shell, Perl, or C/C++.
Experience with benchmarking, workload analysis, and performance profiling tools for Linux or Windows.
Familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers.
