System Engineer RF

What you'll do

• Perform the Engineer of Record role for small to mid-sized public safety communication projects.
• Design multi-faceted systems including coverage, capacity, microwave analysis, RF LMR, and WAN networks.
• Conduct detailed customer interactions for design reviews, system staging, acceptance testing, and live upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex RF and IP network-based systems to ensure successful project execution.
• Create technical design documents and drawings to guide project teams on system construction and configuration.
• Configure and troubleshoot applications, operating systems, and network devices via scripts or manual CLI.
• Lead customer-facing meetings and collaborate with contractors and vendors to drive project results.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities and technical deadlines.

What we're looking for

• RF/Radio Frequency experience is mandatory for this position.
• Must reside in Maryland, Delaware, or D.C.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering or technical experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance.
• Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time.
• Knowledge of RF principles, IP networking, and P25 Land Mobile Radio terminology (preferred).
