What you'll do

Define and execute the business strategy for the Network Operations Center from inception through General Availability.
Develop, deploy, and operate network monitoring and incident response systems for the Leo satellite network.
Design and implement scalable architectures for monitoring network health at the spot and regional levels.
Oversee continuous monitoring and ensure rapid triage, documentation, and escalation of network outages.
Drive automation opportunities and runbook development in collaboration with engineering teams.
Establish and track key performance indicators including time-to-detection and time-to-resolution.
Conduct post-incident reviews to capture lessons learned and prevent future occurrences.
Represent NOC operations in executive decision-making and business reviews.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years of engineering or technical operations experience developing, deploying, and operating networks.
7+ years of network management experience in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
5+ years of engineering team management experience, including managing managers.
Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure products for Tier-1 mission-critical services.
Experience with network troubleshooting tools and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
