System Administrator 2, Storage Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform storage performance trend analysis and manage capacity, provisioning, allocation, and reclamation.
• Use automation and monitoring tools to identify and respond to potential storage problems.
• Install and configure new storage arrays in coordination with hardware vendors.
• Perform SAN zoning and troubleshoot storage connectivity, Fibre Channel, and array issues.
• Execute technical solutions, upgrades, data protection activities, and retirement of older storage systems.
• Coordinate with project and data center teams to support infrastructure deployments.
• Maintain configuration records, operating procedures, and technical support documentation.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Must have 2–4 years of related experience in a medium to large distributed computing environment.
• Must have experience in enterprise storage administration and support.
• Must have knowledge of SAN/NAS infrastructure, storage arrays, Fibre Channel, zoning, provisioning, RAID, fiber connectivity, SFP transceivers, and data protection fundamentals.
• Must have experience with Brocade SAN technology and HPE and Dell storage arrays.
• Must have skills in Fiber Optic Connector, Network Storage, Storage Area Network, and Unix/linux System.
• Must have a BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
