Software Developer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test advanced AI applications and services using the Watsonx platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Implement secure software solutions that comply with IBM’s security policies and standards.
• Build scalable applications on IBM Cloud infrastructure using modern cloud programming practices.
• Integrate AI components into larger systems by collaborating with architects, designers, and account managers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate technical decisions and project progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in generative AI, LLM prompt engineering, and RAG techniques.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience as a full stack developer with knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js, Python, and Java.
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTTP, REST, JSON, HTML, Ajax, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API.
• Understanding of LLM prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of IBM watsonx, IBM Cloud, containerization tools, and micro-services architecture is preferred.
