SW Developer Intern | Enterprise Platform-as-a-Service 2027 As a SW Developer Intern, you will join a team of innovators to build technologies powering the quantum revolution and next-generation AI. You will work across client-server architectures, networking, application development, and databases to design and deploy IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. Your daily responsibilities include designing scalable server applications, firmware, and databases, while creating clean, well-documented APIs and transforming wireframes into functional user experiences. You will participate in Agile development cycles, applying software engineering best practices and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity. The role requires working knowledge of servers, applications, and DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins. You will utilize languages such as C++, C, Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, Perl, and SQL, alongside databases like MongoDB, MySQL, and Postgres.

What you'll do

Design and deploy IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions across client-server architectures.
Create clean, well-documented, and intuitive APIs for customers and internal teams.
Design and develop scalable server applications, firmware, and databases.
Build large-scale systems that support continuous delivery across cloud and on-premises environments.
Participate in Agile development cycles including design, coding, testing, and support.
Transform wireframes into functional user experiences.
Integrate AI capabilities to make platform solutions easier to deploy and scale.
Apply software engineering and testing best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Prior project or internship experience in software development and/or platform engineering.
Working knowledge of servers, applications, databases, and DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with cloud development, virtualization, and one or more major databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or Postgres (preferred).
Proficiency in one or more languages including C++, C, Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, Perl, or SQL (preferred).
Practical experience with Generative AI and prompt engineering in a development environment (preferred).
