JOB TITLE: SVP, Head of Identity & Access Management
The SVP, Head of Identity & Access Management leads the enterprise IAM organization to advance identity security strategy, governance, engineering, operations, and resiliency. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, this leader oversees workforce, advisor, partner, and privileged identity management to ensure secure, compliant access to resources. Key responsibilities include establishing a multi-year roadmap, managing Identity Governance and Administration, and driving modernization toward Zero Trust principles. The role involves overseeing platform engineering, production support, and disaster recovery for critical infrastructure. Required technical expertise includes Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Active Directory, Entra ID, CyberArk, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Federation. This position solves complex identity security problems within a highly regulated financial services environment, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and regulatory compliance across the entire enterprise.
Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) program.
Establish a multi-year IAM roadmap aligned with cybersecurity priorities and technology goals.
Oversee Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) programs including provisioning, role management, and access certification.
Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategy to secure administrative and elevated access across all systems.
Lead engineering and production support for identity platforms like Ping Identity, ForgeRock, and Entra ID.
Drive modernization efforts focused on Zero Trust principles, automation, and cloud identity services.
Own resilience and availability strategies for critical IAM platforms, including disaster recovery and business continuity.
Manage the IAM budget, vendor relationships, workforce planning, and organizational succession plans.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity, identity management, or enterprise technology.
8+ years of experience leading large-scale IAM, cybersecurity, or security engineering organizations.
Deep expertise in IGA, PAM, SSO, MFA, Federation, Directory Services, and cloud identity technologies.
Experience leading enterprise transformation and modernization programs for large, geographically dispersed technical organizations.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
Experience with Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, CyberArk, or Master's degree and CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT certifications (preferred).
