What you'll do

Apply Systems Engineering principles like Requirements Management, Validation, Verification, and Change Management to aircraft design.
Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods for requirements development.
Support current systems engineering processes and drive their use for future projects and programs.
Coordinate with aircraft system owners to ensure process adherence and alignment with program objectives.
Manage requirements using specialized databases and tools such as IBM DOORS, Siemens Teamcenter, or MATLAB System Composer.
Create and manage models within the MATLAB application.

What we're looking for

Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at the time of application.
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded).
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Preferred majors include Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience or interest in Systems Engineering (SE) or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) (preferred).
Proficiency in Modeling and Simulation using MATLAB (preferred).
Completion of coursework in Propulsion and Fluid Dynamics, Aerodynamics, or Aircraft Flight Dynamics (preferred).
