What you'll do

  • Apply Systems Engineering principles like Requirements Management, Validation, Verification, and Change Management to aircraft design.
  • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods for requirements development.
  • Support current systems engineering processes and drive their use for future projects and programs.
  • Coordinate with aircraft system owners to ensure process adherence and alignment with program objectives.
  • Manage requirements using specialized databases and tools such as IBM DOORS, Siemens Teamcenter, or MATLAB System Composer.
  • Create and manage models within the MATLAB application.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at the time of application.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Preferred majors include Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience or interest in Systems Engineering (SE) or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Modeling and Simulation using MATLAB (preferred).
  • Completion of coursework in Propulsion and Fluid Dynamics, Aerodynamics, or Aircraft Flight Dynamics (preferred).
