What you'll do

  • Perform detailed system performance analyses for environmental control systems and related aircraft components.
  • Support qualification and certification testing of components, assemblies, and full aircraft systems.
  • Review engineering designs and drawings to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Develop compliance documentation to demonstrate adherence to FAA regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to execute qualification testing for various aircraft systems.
  • Manage system design and configuration management tasks for new product development.
  • Utilize engineering analysis methods to validate and certify aircraft systems.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher without rounding, listed on the resume.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design and fluid/pneumatic systems (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Catia V5, Matlab, and technical writing (preferred).
  • Completion of coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, or Systems Engineering (preferred).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
