Staff Software Engineer, Testing Tools and Frameworks

What you'll do

• Map business and engineering testing needs to existing technical capabilities.
• Develop extensions, plugins, and fixtures to improve test framework capabilities.
• Prototype new test vectors, approaches, tools, and methods.
• Develop LLM Agents and mentor engineers on best practices.
• Build software tools that provide general utility across the organization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends to maintain cutting-edge continuous delivery processes.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in application development, software testing, performance testing, or load testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Node, Java, or Python.
• Strong proficiency with Agent driven development.
• Deep familiarity with test framework internals or advanced topics in Pytest, Playwright, or TestNG.
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (optional).
• Experience with rolling out tooling to thousands of engineers at scale (preferred).
