What you'll do

Lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap to increase product delivery velocity.
Develop and execute technical software development strategies across a variety of domains.
Build and enhance new and existing systems using Python, C#, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes within an Azure environment.
Mentor and coach engineering and product communities to strengthen technical expertise and know-how.
Analyze costs and forecast requirements to incorporate them into business plans and operational processes.
Design and develop architecture for reliable, scalable systems using microservices and REST APIs.
Implement continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and application monitoring tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience focusing on SRE and Incident/Change Management.
8+ years of experience with architecture and design.
6+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
Fluency in at least two modern languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python, or C# including object-oriented design.
Experience with Microservices oriented architecture, extensible REST APIs, and Azure tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
5+ years of development in a large-scale, mission-critical environment (preferred); 2+ years' experience with automated testing (preferred).
