Staff Software Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Review deliverables and activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with test plans.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work to ensure high quality and compliance.
• Strategically incorporate automated testing and evaluate new tools for adoption within the organization.
• Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, and trace matrices for stakeholders.
• Review system requirements and user stories to create and execute verification test cases.
• Perform exploratory testing, system-level end-to-end testing, and develop test datasets.
• Investigate software bugs, verify fixes, and develop robust regression test strategies.
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with Embedded software testing.
• At least 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience in a regulated industry.
• 1+ years of experience scripting or automating tests.
• At least 3 years of coding experience with C or C++ (preferred).
• Knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies.
• Understanding of test-driven methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
