Staff Software Engineer, Security

What you'll do

• Research, design, and own security-oriented frameworks and features to protect customers.
• Act as a liaison between engineering, security, and product organizations to develop security roadmap requirements.
• Evangelize security best practices across the engineering organization.
• Participate in cross-vertical code reviews with a specific focus on security.
• Break down complex problems into sub-tasks and prototype security initiatives using agile practices.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers on the team.
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or U.S. national).
• Must be physically located on U.S. soil.
• 8+ years of development experience designing and implementing software systems in Java (preferred).
• 4+ years of work experience designing and implementing security solutions for applications and distributed systems (preferred).
• Experience in Application Security, Cryptography, Authentication, Authorization, Certificates, and Secrets Management (preferred).
• Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS/GCP), RDBMS (MySQL), Redis, and Elasticsearch (preferred).
• Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography and securing production-grade agentic AI systems (preferred).
• U.S. citizen as defined in 42 U.S. Code § 9102.
