Security Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Implement protections against reverse engineering, debugging, and tampering within the Vivado FPGA toolchain.
• Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the application layer.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive customer design data during read and write operations.
• Implement and maintain encryption and data integrity workflows across different data formats.
• Maintain and extend capabilities within the existing in-house security framework.
• Refactor and enhance existing security components for improved performance and reliability.
• Develop and optimize security features using modern C++ in Linux and Windows environments.
• Apply best practices for multithreading, performance, and memory management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience developing and optimizing security features in C++.
• Experience working in large, complex codebases or mature products (preferred).
• Experience applying cryptography in software systems using libraries like OpenSSL (preferred).
• Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques and common attack methods (preferred).
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization (preferred).
• Familiarity with Linux (preferred) or Windows environments.
• Exposure to software protection, DRM, or licensing systems (preferred).
