TL;DR · Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps

As a Senior Engineer on Venmo’s AI Tooling team, you will design and build intelligent systems that enhance the productivity of Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps teams by integrating advanced AI capabilities. Your day-to-day involves mentoring junior engineers, developing LLM-powered tools for tasks like runbook generation and incident triage, and creating automation pipelines to reduce manual effort in infrastructure workflows. You will also integrate AI into existing developer tooling and observability platforms, build internal AI APIs, and drive the adoption of emerging AI technologies relevant to cloud and DevOps use cases. The role requires extensive experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and hands-on work with LLMs or generative AI frameworks like LangChain and OpenAI API. Additionally, you should be familiar with prompt engineering, RAG, ML model serving, vector databases, and responsible AI practices to ensure safe and effective integration of AI into production systems at scale.
