What you'll do

Translate ambiguous product and business needs into technical strategies, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
Design scalable system architectures, secure APIs, microservices, and data contracts across multiple domains.
Write and review high-quality, tested code using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Go.
Lead cross-team delivery by managing dependencies, sequencing work, and making critical technical decisions.
Build systems for high reliability using observability, capacity planning, and graceful degradation patterns.
Design and manage complex third-party integrations including authentication, data mapping, and rate limiting.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and hands-on technical coaching.
Lead incident response and root-cause analysis to drive operational readiness and prevention.

What we're looking for

7-12 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on delivery of complex production systems and technical leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment.
Deep proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
Advanced system design skills across domain-driven design, microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and data stores.
Ability to influence without authority, communicate architecture clearly, and mentor engineers through reviews and hands-on guidance.
Experience in Agile, iterative delivery, and improving team practices through feedback and continuous learning.
Experience in SaaS, FinTech, digital banking, payments, or other regulated technology environments (preferred).
