What you'll do

Define the technical vision and multi-quarter architectural roadmap for iOS across the Workforce Solutions portfolio.
Write high-quality, scalable code while designing durable components and shared frameworks to improve development speed.
Lead large-scale technical initiatives by decomposing ambiguous problems and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders.
Design and ship intelligent features powered by on-device machine learning models.
Establish strategies for using AI-assisted development tools to increase engineering productivity and code quality.
Mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar through rigorous code reviews and best practices.
Monitor Apple platform trends to make strategic technology choices for the mobile organization.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services and manage complex system integrations.

What we're looking for

8 or more years of software engineering experience with at least 6 years building production iOS applications in Swift and Objective-C.
Deep expertise in iOS frameworks including SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, and various architectural patterns like MVVM and VIPER.
Proven track record architecting modular iOS codebases using feature modularization, dependency injection, and versioned internal frameworks.
Hands-on experience with on-device machine learning on Apple platforms using Core ML, Vision, Natural Language, and Foundation Models.
Expertise in the iOS delivery toolchain including Xcode build systems, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, Fastlane, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong command of mobile quality and performance engineering including XCTest, Instruments profiling, crash triage, and battery/network efficiency.
Experience owning app security and compliance for sensitive financial data using Keychain and biometric authentication.
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Experience developing large-scale consumer applications with millions of users (preferred).
Experience integrating Apple Intelligence capabilities like App Intents and Siri integration (preferred).
Experience with model conversion, quantization, and performance tuning for on-device inference (preferred).
Experience shipping LLM-backed product features including prompt engineering and evaluation harnesses (preferred).
Experience in a large multi-team or monorepo mobile environment (preferred).
Experience with A/B experimentation, feature flagging, and data-driven release decisions (preferred).
Exposure to cross-platform approaches like KMP or React Native (preferred).
Background in fintech, payroll, or other domains with strict regulatory requirements (preferred).
