Staff Software Engineer, AI & Middleware Automation

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable middleware reliability solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Build intelligent automation systems using AI/ML and LLM frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Develop production-grade code that adheres to established security, performance, and scalability standards.
• Lead the transition from traditional operations to an AI-driven software engineering organization.
• Resolve complex incidents by performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term prevention solutions.
• Utilize advanced monitoring and observability tools to identify systemic risks and patterns.
• Mentor junior engineers on coding standards, technical requirements, and reliability practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high quality and provide constructive technical feedback to the team.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree, or an Advanced degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD is required.
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience is required for candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go to write production-quality, secure, and maintainable code is required.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, systems design, and the software development lifecycle are required.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required.
• Working knowledge of monitoring/observing tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and Grafana is required.
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and performing root cause analysis is required.
• Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), AI/ML engineering, or agentic systems is preferred.
