What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain automated software and firmware test suites for functional, integration, and system levels.
Create software and firmware test plans that address requirements traceability and test coverage.
Manually test the customer experience of hardware and software installation across mobile, compute, and automotive environments.
Develop Quality Engineering and Release Engineering processes with a focus on continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Implement customer use-cases, workload analysis models, and workload creation to achieve production-level software readiness.
Perform bring-up, debug, and diagnostic tasks in coordination with multiple engineering teams.
Optimize existing operating systems and customer environments for improved power and performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
8+ years of experience in Software/Firmware Validation (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of software test engineering experience with a focus on Data Center Servers (preferred).
Extensive experience with operating systems like Ubuntu Server, RHEL, SUSE, or Windows server (preferred).
Experience with BIOS/UEFI, BMC firmware, or Operating Systems for x86/ARM64/RISC-V 64bit server platforms (preferred).
