Staff Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and develop performant detective tooling and automated security processes.
• Participate in daily operations including on-call rotations and incident response activities.
• Conduct threat modeling for applications and systems to identify potential risks.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps and project plans for the Detection and Response team.
• Perform technical research and architecture reviews to improve platform defenses.
• Utilize AI for complex threat hunting and detecting advanced AI-driven threats.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers to facilitate security solutions.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members for career development.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of security engineering experience in a production-cloud environment.
• Must be a subject-matter expert on security issues and technologies.
• Must have experience designing and building AI Agents and Agentic workflows.
• Must be able to use AI for complex threat hunting activities to deliver high-fidelity detections.
• Must have experience detecting and responding to AI threats using the MITRE ATLAS framework or similar.
• Must possess advanced knowledge of service-oriented architectures and cloud-based security tools.
• Must have experience with SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, and infrastructure as code like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is desired or equivalent experience.
