Staff Enterprise Security Engineer, AI Security

What you'll do

• Design and implement secure reference architectures for Enterprise AI platforms to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Establish a definitive framework for AI vetting to institutionalize security mindsets across the organization.
• Develop a long-term roadmap for agentic AI identity and posture management with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain and improve enterprise security posture through high-quality code in Python or Go.
• Manage security infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and a strategic advisor to leadership on AI security.
• Architect preventative guardrails to mitigate risks from first and third-party AI agents.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure security.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or staff engineering capacity at an enterprise.
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes).
• Proven track record of designing and deploying complex security systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience in building, deploying, and reviewing automation for complex security workflows, including AI-driven and traditional tools (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex AI security risks to non-technical stakeholders (preferred).
• This role is not eligible for candidates residing in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or surrounding areas.
