Staff Security Engineer, Detection & Response

What you'll do

• Command security incident response workstreams to contain threats and communicate impact to leadership.
• Build, tune, and maintain a global detection catalog across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Architect the Autonomic Security Operations roadmap by integrating AI agents and automated discovery.
• Analyze multi-language codebases to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate threat vectors.
• Mentor engineers to foster technical excellence and a culture of continuous learning.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain real-time operational readiness.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in Detection & Response, Incident Response, or Security Operations.
• Proven command presence leading complex incident responses under pressure with clear executive communication.
• Advanced technical experience securing cloud environments with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Ability to read and reason through multi-language codebases to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate threat vectors.
• Track record of designing, tuning, and operating scalable detection engineering pipelines and SOAR playbooks.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic AI workflows for security operations.
• Experience with Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, or Red Team operations (preferred).
• Background in high-growth fintech, crypto platforms, or managed security service providers (preferred).
