TL;DR · Staff Product Manager, Identity and Security

Staff Product Manager, Identity and Security will lead strategic initiatives across authentication, authorization, and access control for MongoDB Atlas, the core database engine, and emerging developer platforms. This role focuses on building non-human identity solutions, including workload identity federation, zero-trust passwordless access, Model Context Protocol integrations, and autonomous AI agentic identity. The successful candidate will develop multi-year product strategies, identify market opportunities, and partner with engineering and UX teams to create enterprise-grade experiences that prioritize developer velocity. Key technical requirements include expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC/ABAC policies. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of cloud identity models across AWS, Azure, and GCP, alongside experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE, TLS/x509, and secret-reduction strategies. The role addresses the complex challenge of securing machine-to-machine communication and managing identity lifecycles for AI workloads in a multi-tenant environment.
