Product Manager, Identity & Access Management

What you'll do

• Set the vision and roadmap for how humans, agents, and apps access Stripe accounts.
• Design the end-to-end experience for signing up, inviting teammates, and creating API keys.
• Define authentication and authorization protocols specifically for AI agents as a new principal.
• Implement human-in-the-loop checkpoints and approval workflows for agent actions involving real money.
• Drive least-privilege authorization by building custom roles and smart permission defaults based on API usage.
• Promote secretless authentication as the default integration method to prevent security threats.
• Partner with internal teams to pitch and execute the identity and access management vision.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in product management shipping platform or infrastructure products that other teams build on.
• Background in security, identity, authentication, or developer platforms.
• Ability to talk to users to identify real problems rather than just reported ones.
• Technical fluency to engage deeply with engineers on authorization and authentication design.
• A bias toward experimentation over big-bang launches.
• Comfort setting direction in an undefined space across teams you do not manage.
