TL;DR · Staff Platform Manager, GTM & Ops Tooling

Staff Platform Manager - GTM & Ops Tooling joins the Supply organization to build and improve internal tools and workflows for teams that vet, onboard, and support hosts at scale. This role sits at the intersection of operations and technology, transforming fragmented, manual processes into structured, measurable systems. You will define multi-year strategies for the ops platform, design AI-forward operational processes with human-in-the-loop components, and manage case management and workforce management tooling including capacity planning and performance measurement. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical fluency in system architecture, data models, and API contracts. Required skills include experience shipping AI or automation into production, SQL fluency, and proficiency with tools like Salesforce Service Cloud, Airtable, or Zendesk. You will solve the problem of replacing manual workflows with scalable infrastructure to support global growth and high-volume service operations.

What you'll do

  • Define a multi-year strategy and roadmap for internal operations platforms incorporating AI-driven execution.
  • Design AI-forward operational processes that determine where human judgment is required in workflows.
  • Translate complex operational requirements into structured, measurable systems to replace manual processes.
  • Own case management and workforce management tools including capacity planning, workload distribution, and performance measurement.
  • Write detailed product briefs for engineering teams and manage the lifecycle from prototype to adoption.
  • Negotiate roadmap sequencing and resolve conflicting constraints across multiple engineering and product teams.
  • Connect platform decisions to business outcomes by measuring success through key business metrics.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, platform management, or operations technology.
  • Experience in a technical product management role with direct delivery accountability for systems built with back-end engineering teams.
  • Deep technical fluency including the ability to read system architecture, pressure-test engineering designs, and understand data models and API contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience redesigning operational processes in high-volume service organizations by replacing manual work with scalable, measurable systems.
  • Experience shipping AI or automation into production operations, including designing human-in-the-loop systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering outcomes through teams outside your reporting line across engineering and product marketing organizations.
  • Experience building or owning workforce management or case management tooling such as capacity planning, queue management, or SLA tracking.
  • Proficiency in SQL to pressure-test requirements and define success metrics.
