What you'll do

  • Set technology strategies and roadmaps for Digital Imaging platforms across pharmaceutical research and development.
  • Lead and implement technology deployments for Digital Pathology, Digital Radiology, and Clinical Imaging.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with business units in Oncology, Neuroscience, Immunology, and Data Sciences.
  • Identify and assess high-impact opportunities for Digital Imaging technology platforms and success measures.
  • Drive the technology stack for scheduling, monitoring, reporting, orchestration, and infrastructure management.
  • Leverage cloud computing capabilities to deliver scalable, reusable, and cost-optimized solutions.
  • Incorporate emerging technologies like containerization, serverless, and accelerated AI/ML into business solutions.
  • Provide leadership to develop, support, and motivate direct reports and the broader technical team.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Science, or a related field and at least 6 years of industry experience.
  • A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Science, or a related field and at least 4 years of industry experience.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, programs, and projects while applying business acumen to create new opportunities.
  • Experience with AWS EC2 and S3.
  • Experience with the functionality of Windows platforms.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Experience working on cross-functional and global teams in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Experience with visualization technologies and techniques (preferred).
