What you'll do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for complex aerospace hardware.
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability initiatives to optimize producibility, yield, and cost in high-reliability environments.
  • Own quality assurance by conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Specify and deploy advanced assembly tools, fixtures, and automation solutions using CAD/3D modeling capabilities.
  • Implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enhance traceability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering disciplines and supply chain management.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in high-reliability industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Expert knowledge of aerospace and space electronics standards (IPC-610/620 Class 3).
  • Hands-on experience with PCBA manufacturing processes and box-level assembly.
  • Demonstrated expertise in MES implementation, ERP/MRP systems optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
