What you'll do

  • Oversee development and optimization of manufacturing processes for complex space hardware.
  • Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) and production readiness assessments.
  • Ensure robust Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles are integrated throughout product lifecycle.
  • Serve as primary interface with design engineering, supply chain, program management, test, and operations.
  • Establish rigorous quality control standards to meet stringent space-grade requirements.
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and lead high-performing manufacturing engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • At least 8+ years of experience in space and satellite manufacturing or related field.
  • Proven leadership in managing and developing diverse engineering teams.
  • Expertise in unit-level/space vehicle/system integration, assembly, and environmental testing.
  • Background in integrating avionics/optical payloads, solar, propulsion, ADCS, and other space hardware.
  • Experience with CAD software, Manufacturing Execution systems, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale product testing and production from small batches to large volumes.
