Staff Manager, Product Management — Customer Strategy & Solution, Data Center Custom Silicon joins the Data Center Business Unit to shape customer strategy and translate requirements into actionable solution plans for custom silicon platforms. This individual serves as a critical interface between customers and internal teams including Architecture, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal. The role involves defining solution strategies, managing requests for information and quotations, and aligning customer priorities with platform capabilities like chiplets, packaging, memory, and compute technologies. Key responsibilities include driving cross-functional alignment, performing competitive analysis, and developing pricing inputs and revenue plans. Candidates must possess a technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science and experience in the semiconductor industry. The role focuses on solving complex challenges within AI infrastructure, data center systems, and custom silicon development lifecycles to turn customer needs into scalable business opportunities.
Translate customer priorities and market needs into actionable product requirements and solution recommendations for custom silicon platforms.
Lead the definition of technical documents including RFIs, RFQs, statements of work, and product requirement documents.
Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, supply chain, finance, and sales to resolve scope and feature trade-offs.
Support opportunity qualification through competitive analysis, investment recommendations, and design-win strategies.
Collaborate with finance and sales teams on pricing models, commercial assumptions, and revenue planning.
Contribute customer-driven insights to the development of technology roadmaps for chiplets, packaging, and memory.
Establish and improve internal processes, tools, and governance for consistent customer engagement and opportunity management.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
8+ years of semiconductor industry experience in roles such as Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Business Development.
Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, or strategic semiconductor customers.
Knowledge of AI infrastructure and data center systems including compute, connectivity, networking, memory technologies, chiplets, and advanced packaging.
Strong commercial, financial, and strategic planning skills including business case development, pricing inputs, and revenue planning.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and support executive-level decision making through clear product recommendations.
