As a Staff Logistics Management Analyst, you will join a sustainment logistics team responsible for managing complex spare parts and support assets to ensure fleet readiness for advanced aerospace systems. You will develop inventory models, establish stock strategies, and determine authorized stock levels while managing cost and shelf-life risks. Your daily work involves performing supportability and risk analyses, conducting sales forecasting, and ensuring the accuracy of Bills of Material to support scheduled maintenance events. You will also manage centralized inventory control processes and coordinate with global supply chain partners. The role requires expertise in U.S. Government aircraft maintenance and logistics management. Key tools and skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or similar ERP systems, Teamcenter Enterprise, ELMS/ELMA, and Engineering Source Data. You will solve critical supply chain disconnects to maintain asset availability for the warfighter.
Develop inventory models and stock strategies to maximize asset availability within defined budget constraints.
Determine and assign Authorized Stock Levels and Reorder Points to manage cost and shelf-life risks.
Conduct supportability and risk analyses to identify supply chain gaps and recommend mitigation actions.
Support procurement activities by validating requirements and prioritizing purchases based on fleet needs.
Maintain accurate Bills of Material and logistics data for scheduled maintenance and modification events.
Manage centralized inventory control processes including the definition of roles, procedures, and performance metrics.
Monitor sustainment metrics such as fill rates and backorders to drive necessary corrective actions.
Ensure configuration and data integrity for logistics records to align with engineering support structures.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or maintenance; OR a Master's degree and 10 years; OR a PhD and 8 years.
Ability to obtain, transfer, and maintain a final U.S. adjudicated government Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Experience with government aircraft maintenance and supply processes and systems is preferred.
Experience working within SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for material management is preferred.
Familiarity with engineering data tools such as Teamcenter Enterprise, ELMS/ELMA, and ESD is preferred.
Certification through the Acquisition Professional Development Program in Program Management and/or Acquisition Logistics is preferred.
