The Logistics Management Analyst / Principal Logistics Management Analyst - Ellsworth AFB joins a sustainment logistics team managing complex spare parts and support assets for advanced aerospace systems. This role involves developing inventory models, determining authorized stock levels, and performing risk analyses to mitigate supply chain gaps. The individual will manage material portfolios, conduct sales forecasting, ensure Bill of Material accuracy, and monitor sustainment metrics like fill rates and backorders. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Global Supply Chain partners and government counterparts to align material strategies for fleet readiness. Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data. Preferred experience includes working with SAP, Teamcenter Enterprise, ELMS/ELMA, and ESD tools while managing DMSMS obsolescence within the context of large weapon system programs like fighters or bombers.
Develop and maintain inventory models and stock strategies to maximize asset availability within budget constraints.
Determine and assign Authorized Stock Levels and Reorder Points to meet program readiness requirements.
Conduct supportability and risk analyses to identify supply chain gaps and recommend mitigation actions.
Support procurement activities by validating requirements and prioritizing purchases based on fleet needs.
Ensure the accuracy of Bills of Material and associated logistics data for maintenance events.
Monitor sustainment metrics such as fill rates and backorders to drive necessary corrective actions.
Maintain configuration and data integrity for logistics records to align with engineering structures.
Provide mentoring to junior analysts and lead continuous improvement initiatives for tools and processes.
What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
For Logistics Management Analyst: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience.
For Principal Logistics Management Analyst: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data for parts applicability.
Experience with government aircraft maintenance, supply processes, and large weapon system sustainment.
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and tools like Teamcenter or ELMS/ELMA.
