Staff Information Systems Project Manager

What you'll do

• Act as the assignment manager for the SWF Project Management and Operations Team.
• Optimize organizational procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while making decisions to prevent delays.
• Lead risk management activities by identifying, analyzing, tracking, and communicating project risks and opportunities.
• Prepare charts, briefings, and metrics to provide the Software Factory with visualization of organizational health.
• Guide and support team members in preparing and facilitating executive and customer level engagements.
• Manage staffing needs including job descriptions, postings, onboarding, and offboarding of team members.
• Oversee daily operations and perform administrative tasks such as managing calendars and coordinating meetings.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree with 12 years experience, Master's with 10 years, PhD with 8 years, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Must have knowledge or experience in Systems Engineering "V" Life Cycle or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence).
• Must have prior leadership experience and a demonstrated track record in project management, execution, and closeout.
• Must have experience managing risk portfolios of at least $50M and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
