Staff In House Design Technical Program Manager

What you'll do

• Create and own program milestones, cross-team integration schedules, and execution plans for new in-house components.
• Coordinate hardware design, development, and validation efforts across multiple engineering teams.
• Develop hardware validation plans that align with internal customer needs and major company milestones.
• Manage the engagement with contract manufacturers for PCBA/mechanical design releases and hardware builds.
• Capture and track inter-team dependencies and handoffs while resolving issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Define program deliverables, metrics, and KPIs and set up mechanisms to track and report progress.
• Lead meetings to present hardware engineering work and progress updates to leadership.
• Conduct periodic retrospectives to continuously assess and improve internal processes and tools.

What we're looking for

• BS in engineering, science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Technical Program Management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing contract manufacturers in the development of new hardware products.
• Ability to understand complex hardware/software systems and product development processes.
• Familiarity with hardware design and development processes including board-level design, mechanical engineering, and hardware validation.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills.
• Ability to handle ambiguities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
