What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain people system automations and integrations using Workato, Google Cloud, and Workday.
Build and maintain integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, Slack, and internal tools using Workday Web Services and Slack APIs.
Write, version, and maintain automation code in Ruby or other scripting languages within GitLab.
Develop and manage Slack apps and bots to provide automated workflows for a global workforce.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices to ensure all automations are tested and safely deployed.
Integrate AI tools and large language models to accelerate development and eliminate manual work across the People Group.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Workato architecture to drive standardization and scalability.
Provide technical guidance and documentation to stakeholders while collaborating with InfoSec, AI Engineering, and IT teams.

What we're looking for

Experience writing and maintaining code in Ruby or comparable scripting languages like Python or PHP.
Deep expertise in Workato or a similar enterprise automation and integration platform.
Strong experience integrating with Workday using Workday Web Services (WWS).
Experience building Slack apps and automations using the Slack API and Bot SDK.
Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, including experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
Experience connecting HR systems such as Workday and Greenhouse to internal tools.
Comfort working with AI tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks to automate work.
