What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain people system automations and integrations across Workato, Google Cloud, and Workday.
Build and maintain integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, and Slack using Workday Web Services and Slack APIs.
Write, version, and maintain automation code in Ruby using GitLab with disciplined change management practices.
Develop and manage Slack apps and bots to deliver automated workflows for a global workforce.
Serve as the subject matter expert on Workato automation architecture to drive standardization and scalability.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices for people system automation.
Leverage AI tools and large language models to accelerate automation development and eliminate manual work.
Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and partner with InfoSec and AI Engineering teams.

What we're looking for

Hands-on experience writing and maintaining code in Ruby or a comparable scripting language like Python or PHP.
Deep expertise in Workato or a comparable enterprise automation and integration platform.
Strong experience integrating with Workday using Workday Web Services (WWS).
Experience building Slack apps and automations using Slack's API and Bot SDK.
Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE is a bonus).
Comfort working with AI tools and MCP frameworks like Claude to accelerate development.
