What you'll do

Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert for IBM Sterling OMS production environments.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution for complex order lifecycle, inventory, fulfillment, and integration issues.
Drive production stability through proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Develop automation solutions to reduce manual support activities and accelerate issue detection.
Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness across OMS platforms.
Partner with engineering and architecture teams to support strategic modernization and migration initiatives.
Mentor engineers on reliability engineering best practices and incident management.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience in software engineering, production engineering, site reliability engineering, or enterprise application engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting IBM Sterling OMS in complex, high-volume production environments.
5+ years of expertise in Sterling OMS order lifecycle processes, including inventory, fulfillment, APIs, and integrations.
3+ years of experience with Splunk, SQL, Linux, REST APIs, JSON, and application log analysis.
5+ years of experience leading critical incident resolution and performing effective root cause analysis.
Must be willing to work on an on-call support rotation.
Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD, observability tools, and Python (preferred).
