What you'll do

Perform full-cycle PCB design including schematic capture, high-density layout, component selection, and board bring-up.
Design and optimize flight controller circuits, power distribution systems, and motor controller electronics.
Conduct circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, and DFMEA to ensure reliability in extreme environments.
Lead hardware testing including Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification testing, and functional testing.
Perform root cause and failure analysis to support engine test and field operations.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance of propulsion-subsystem electronics from concept to production.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
Solid engineering fundamentals across Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics.
Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and high-density PCB layouts.
Proficiency with LTSpice or equivalent tools for circuit simulation.
Competence with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal chambers.
Familiarity with standard interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet) and common MCU/CPU architectures.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Save
