Electrical Engineer (Power & Mixed-Signal)

What you'll do

• Perform schematic capture and high-density PCB layouts for propulsion-subsystem electronics using Altium.
• Design and optimize flight controller circuits, power distribution, motor controllers, and electromagnetic actuators.
• Conduct circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, and DFMEA to ensure reliability in extreme environments.
• Lead board bring-ups, Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification testing, and functional testing.
• Perform root cause and failure analysis to support engine tests and field operations.
• Manage key vendor relationships to ensure performance and reliability of propulsion technologies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Robotics.
• 0–7+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
• Solid engineering fundamentals across Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics.
• Deep proficiency with Altium Designer and LTSpice (or equivalent tools).
• Competence with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal chambers.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet) and common MCU/CPU architectures.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with MATLAB / Simulink for data analysis or system simulations (preferred).
