Staff CAD Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment including templates, customization files, and role-based configurations.
• Administer NX installations, license servers, and Teamcenter PLM integrations while managing version upgrades and patches.
• Create and maintain standardized part families, product configurators, drawing templates, and reusable component libraries.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using NXOpen API and Knowledge Fusion to streamline design tasks.
• Lead root cause investigations for CAD/PLM issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Establish and enforce organization-wide standards for CAD modeling and PLM data entry to ensure consistency.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to engineering teams as the primary point of escalation.
• Manage configuration projects with internal departments and external providers while ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.

What we're looking for

• Must have 7+ years of experience in CAD administration or NX configuration within an engineering or production environment.
• Must possess multi-skilled experience administering and configuring Siemens NX across CAD, CAM, and CAE environments.
• Must be able to configure NX templates, customization files, role-based settings, and standardized environments for multi-user deployments.
• Must have experience creating and maintaining part families, product configurators, and reusable component libraries.
• Must possess a working knowledge of interpreting NX Logs and Sys Logs.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and CAD/PLM technical documentation.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Preferred: Capability of obtaining a U.S. Secret security clearance.
