What you'll do
Implement and maintain enterprise-grade WAF and DDoS protections across properties.
Develop and fine-tune custom firewall rules and bot mitigation controls.
Analyze logs to identify malicious traffic patterns and optimize security policies.
Contribute to automation efforts for deploying and maintaining security configurations.
Provide technical guidance on perimeter security best practices in SDLC environments.
Research emerging threats and recommend improvements to strengthen edge/WAF posture.
Participate in on-call rotation for WAF/DDoS incident response as a subject matter expert.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in application or network security with hands-on work in WAF/DDoS solutions.
Detailed understanding of threats to consumer and digital platform organizations.
Expertise with at least one major WAF platform (Akamai, AWS WAF, Azure).
Strong knowledge of HTTP/S protocols, OWASP Top 10, and API security models.
Proficiency with log analysis tools and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Experience securing applications across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-team security initiatives.
