Senior SW Engineer, AI Security

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain production services and APIs to detect and mitigate GenAI risks like prompt injection and jailbreaking.
• Implement deterministic, policy-driven controls and model-based approaches to protect LLMs, agents, and enterprise data.
• Build automated evaluation, testing, and feedback loops to monitor detection quality, latency, and false-positive rates.
• Containerize and deploy security services using Docker and Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Apply threat modeling, secure coding practices, and vulnerability remediation to all software development tasks.
• Evaluate emerging GenAI security technologies through structured proofs of concept and technical guidance.
• Translate emerging AI-security risks into product capabilities and support production releases and incident analysis.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must have professional software-development experience building backend services, APIs, platforms, or distributed applications.
• Must have experience developing production software using Python, Java, Go, or another modern programming language.
• Must have experience with cybersecurity, secure software development, application security, cloud security, AI security, or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in computer science, applied math, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional language such as Java, Go, or Rust with solid distributed-systems fundamentals (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI application architectures, LLM APIs, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex (preferred).
• Experience with cloud-native deployment and operations including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability platforms (preferred).
