Senior Technical Support Specialist, Autodesk Moldflow

What you'll do

• Provide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving geometry, meshing, materials, process settings, and simulation results.
• Distinguish between software bugs, modeling assumptions, and real-world manufacturing challenges for customers.
• Research, reproduce, and document product issues for the Product Development and Engineering teams.
• Create technical articles, troubleshooting guidance, and reusable knowledge for internal and external audiences.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting, research, and knowledge creation while validating technical accuracy.
• Develop expertise in connected Autodesk workflows including Moldflow, Fusion, and related design technologies.

What we're looking for

• 3-5+ years of experience with plastic injection-molding simulation, preferably Autodesk Moldflow, or equivalent industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of injection molding, polymer behavior, processing conditions, and manufacturing fundamentals.
• Experience preparing, running, troubleshooting, and interpreting engineering simulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced experience with Autodesk Moldflow Insight (preferred).
• Practical experience in injection molding, mold design, tooling, process engineering, or plastics manufacturing (preferred).
