Senior Systems Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead software/hardware integration testing and development test system validation.
• Design and develop software/scripting test setups and supporting hardware for satellite bus subsystem validation.
• Lead innovative software, firmware, and hardware architectures for multiple manufacturing test lines.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds.
• Define test strategies and optimize test processes at the CM, including designing test fixtures and equipment.
• Provide design for testability (DFT) feedback to design engineers throughout the development process.
• Analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives regarding performance, cost, risk, and scale.
• Develop procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides to support production.

What we're looking for

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• Interested and able to travel domestically and internationally.
• Export Control Requirement.
