As an AI Security Engineer on the Platform Security team, you will serve as the first line of defense regarding AI security risks. You will be responsible for reviewing new AI technologies and integrations before they ship to identify vulnerabilities and design corresponding controls. Your daily work involves building guardrails, sandboxes, and detection systems to contain what AI agents can do while managing identity systems to track access levels across the organization. You will also focus on detecting and mitigating prompt injection across the company's AI surface area and conducting security reviews to set standards for other teams. The role requires hands-on experience with guardrails, sandboxes, identity management, prompt injection mitigation, or implementing security tooling. This position addresses the challenge of securing an expanding attack surface created by rapid AI adoption within a financial technology environment.

What you'll do

Review AI systems and integrations for security risks before and after deployment.
Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls to contain AI agent actions.
Build and implement systems to track and manage identities for all AI agents.
Detect and mitigate prompt injection attacks across the company's AI surface area.
Conduct AI-focused security reviews to establish safety standards for other teams.
Develop scalable security tools and infrastructure to support aggressive AI adoption.

What we're looking for

Must have 3-6 years of experience.
Must have hands-on experience securing AI technologies including guardrails, sandboxes, identity management, prompt injection mitigation, security reviews, or tooling.
Experience at a frontier AI lab or on a security team defending production AI systems at scale (preferred).
Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Platform, Corporate Security, SecOps, or Detection & Response (preferred).
Experience in software security review, SDLC, vulnerability discovery, or offensive security (preferred).
